Applications are now open for the Master of Arts in Development Studies and Diplomacy, jointly delivered online by UPEACE and UNITAR.
This interdisciplinary programme broadens students’ knowledge in development studies, sustainability, and diplomacy while equipping them with soft skills for a successful international career. The curriculum explores environmental, social, economic, and human dimensions of development, as well as the theory and practice of diplomacy in the 21st century.
Participants study topics including Development Studies and International Cooperation, Sustainable Development Goals, Global Governance, Diplomacy in the 21st Century, Conflict Resolution and Crisis Management, and complete an Independent Research Project. The programme also includes skills development and coaching sessions.
Students may participate in an optional field visit to Geneva, Switzerland and/or The Hague, Netherlands.
